OUR INTERIOR DESIGN PROCESS
1.Discovery interior design call
Let's schedule a phone call and talk about your interior design project!
Your consultation call with Ronni Rosenfeld Interiors is where you get to share an overview of your design project ideas, and we get to share a bit about our design process and determine whether our detailed design services are a good fit for you and your project.
2.Initial client In-person meeting
Ready to get started? Let's schedule a client meeting! After determining if we are a good fit during our discovery call, we will schedule an in-person meeting with you for a more collaborative client and designer interview.
This stage of the interior design process is where we refine the nuts-and-bolts parameters of the project in terms of defining your specific needs and details, whether this is space planning, lifestyle needs, or personal desires.
This is also where we form our scope of work or outline of the services that we will perform for you and your project. We'll then provide you with a framework of next steps and how we move forward.
3. Project Kickoff
Once we receive a signed letter of agreement from you, we hit the ground running on your interior design project. We'll begin by measuring and photographing your space and documenting any furnishings or artwork that you would like to see incorporated into the new design plan and we meet with any trades that we need to request estimates for work required like the contractor, flooring professional, window treatment, custom cabinets and millwork, electrician, painter, etc.
4.Interior Design Presentation Meeting
This is the meeting you have been waiting for! During this phase, we are busy pulling together all of the architectural finishes, color schemes, window treatments, fabrics or decorative furnishings and fine-tuning all of the curated components of your interior design concept.
For clients who want more help visualizing how all the pieces will fit together in the space, we may create a computerized 3D rendering.
You will get to see all of the exciting finds and designs, we've been working on specifically for you! During our meeting, we also review the investment amount needed for the amazing selections, note any changes or additions that might be needed and wrap up our meeting with your payment for all the gorgeous materials and products you've approved. At the end of our presentation meeting, you will have a very concise interiors package!
5.Interior Design Execution and Implementation
During this process we are busy behind the scenes handling all of the fine details so you don't have to! We make scheduled site visits to check for accuracy of designs during the remodel or new build process. We collaborate with the various contractors, fabricators or tradespersons and manage every detail during the construction or installation process.
We will continuously coordinate and stay on top of all orders, deliveries, vendor statuses, and installation schedules. This helps eliminate the chance of potential problems or delays for your project timeline.
6. Installation and the Big Reveal!
We are now ready to bring all of the design elements together. In advance of the installation, expect that clearing your space for install day may take some advance planning. Do you have outgoing furniture that you would like to have donated or handed-down? Let us know, so we can refer you to movers or we can suggest organizations open to receiving your donations. Also, during the installation process, we are receiving and moving furniture, placing delicate fixtures, hanging art. All of this is highly detailed work will be a flurry of activity and we ask you to remain away from the space.
The Big Reveal is the day you have been waiting for! You'll receive a guided walkthrough of your completed interior design project. We also take this time to review if there any discrepancies or issues.
